How quickly do you need to problem-solve inventory challenges?

You need to be able to find misplaced inventory immediately. A drone can be can be brought to any location in the warehouse to scan locations whenever you need it.

What speed do you want to cover the warehouse?

Autonomous drone flies continuously with an operator changing the battery. One operator flies 3 drones at once and can do inventory monitoring 15x faster than traditional means (900 pallets per hour)

Drones need to fly to the scanning location to and from the charging nest, wasting time and battery. Once the battery is low the drone needs to park for longer than it flies to recharge.

How much hardware do you want to purchase?

A single drone can cover the full warehouse as the drone has the flexibility to be brought to any location and can take has the flexibility to take off from anywhere.

Depending on the size, you may need multiple drones and charge pads to cover the full warehouse.

What insights do you need?

Able to read multiple barcode in a single scan, read text, and count the face of a pallet.

Only reads big barcodes and requires specific barcode placement. Does not read text.

Do you have seasonal operational surges?

Ability to add or reduce drones based on your needs.

Would be difficult, as new infrastructure is needed for charging bases.

Do you want access to the latest and best drone technology?

Uses commodity commercial drones, manufactured in the millions, leveraging the quality and cost benefits of scale and giving customers access to the latest drone technology which includes improvements in battery life and camera quality.

Drones are custom-built in small numbers. Any improvements in technology would have to be developed and implemented by Verity.

Do you need local support?

We are headquartered in the United States and replace drones and hardware at no extra cost with 1-workday delivery.

How easy is it to make infrastructure changes in your warehouse?

No active infrastructure changes needed. No wifi required and solution can operate in complete darkness and in very narrow aisles down to 5’4”.

Only change required is stickers that are placed on racks by the Gather AI team. Deployment is 2-4 weeks.

Active infrastructure is needed including power drops and network connectivity for each charging station and the installation of localization beacons for robots to navigation.
